RetCam Envision gives Northwick Park NICU the Gold Standard

John Brooks, Managing Director of our Ophthalmology Division loves to keep his hand in when it comes to installations and training. An enjoyable teaching session with Miss Meena Arun, Consultant Ophthalmologist and her team took place last week at Northwick Park NICU with the gold standard RetCam Envision. Moorfields has chosen RetCam for their roll-out in London to focus on the necessity for high quality imaging for ROP screening and other paediatric ocular disease. John has been responsible for around 100 RetCam installations in the UK over the last 15 years, a phenomenal achievement helping our wonderful ophthalmologists to cover the challenges some premature babies have with Retinopathy of Prematurity. If not treated in time, the child can have severe permanent vision loss, or even go blind.
