Maddox Twirl – White, is another variant of the Maddox Twirl, used in optometry to diagnose and measure eye muscle imbalances, such as phorias. Similar to the Green Maddox Twirl, it helps in assessing both horizontal and vertical deviations by creating a line of light that the patient perceives, which can then be used to determine the direction and degree of the misalignment.
